This beautiful park is very close to our home (2 min drive). It has beautiful trails that cover rolling terraine many beneath mature oak trees. There are sweeping views of the country side. There are picnic tables and restrooms and at the parking lot. The park treats hikers to stunning views of the peaks surrounding Santa Rosa and Sonoma Valley.

This spectacular park is only a 5 minute drive from our home.

North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve

This is a not to be missed fine dinning experience!
What you will see on the elaborate $225 tasting menu, paid in advance with the addition of tax and 20 percent service charge, is a Japan-meets-Sonoma progression of 11 courses, starting with a magnificent presentation of wood covered in moss and delicate flowers that serves as a base for nine or 10 bite-size appetizers set on the table just before guests are seated. The roof top lounge is wonderful. Make your reservation early as this is a very popular destination.
