This small ethiopian restaurant is a gem, with authentic food and very nice service. You can either eat western style, or jump right out and eat with your fingers like the locals do. Very cheap lunch menu

Restaurant "20A" is a very good midrange restaurant. They have a semi-fixed menu, french inspired and always good quality both in food and service. Nice décor, too...

Bevar's is a cosy café, perfect spot for hanging out with your computer or a good book. Food is great, vibe is excellent.

Best thai in Nørrebro, Aroii is a bit upmarket compared to your ordinary currypusher. But the food is way better than average, maybe because it is run from Kiin-Kiin next door, the only Thai Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen.

Michelin star thai food. Too good to be true, and really worth the high price - if you like asian food. Don't go there if you're not into Thai cuisine, but if you are (like most people I know) it'll be the meal of your life. Or one of them, anyway.

Shawarma Grill-House with the subtitle "Est. 1981" is easily the best shawarma in town. The meat is prepared with a special marinade, with a rich taste of youghurt and spice. Their chili sauce is exceptionally good, tasty and sweet with just the right amount of bite. Extremely fast food, once you get to the counter, but expect some queue at peak hours.

Fælledparken is the largest park in Nørrebro, with spacious lawns and a lot of activity. Bring a picnic basket, or buy your snacks at Pavillonen in the middle of the park. Good for peoplewatching.
