A bit of a drive but so worth it! Amazing permanent collection with iconic modern pioneers and new artist exhibits. Plan on a whole day, or at least a whole morning/afternoon to take this place in.

And for the really daring, cliff jumping, EPIC cliff jumping! Local teen hangout and did I mention the cliff jumping? Cowabunga! (or whatever it is the kids say these days...)

Good for a short stroll or a Georgia-to-Maine odyssey. Take a hike and talk to some of the through-hikers, or just meander along and get out of their way when they slog through, Katahdin-bound. (nobody ever heads south......)
