The heart of 1960's poetic and literary life in Paris. Still mostly preserved. You will feel the soul of the city walking around the little cafés and bookshops. You can exit at Saint-Michel and go westwards.

Walking on the left bank, in the beautiful île Saint-Louis, île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, then on Pont des Arts and along Quai d'Orsay will give you the best views, especially at night, and a sense of the importance of the river for the city. Cars have recently been banished and everything is accessible by foot or bicycle. You can directly take line 12 to Assemblée nationale to come back to our place.
