One of our favorite places to visit and perfect for children and families. A family operated Maple Sugar farm and Pancake House. Trails, museum, tour the factory, see the animals. There is a large country play ground for kids. Simply delightful place where you can enjoy a Maple themed country breakfast.

This UNESCO site is just down the road from the Church and features trails that takes you along the canal's natural fauna. A "Lookout" and Dam are 2 of its special features along the 3 km. trail.

One of our favourite places to relax by the beach and walk the trails during the Summer and ski on groomed trails in Winter. Pristine beaches and rental canoes to explore the Rideau Lakes.

Known as the Prettiest Little Town in Ontario. It is home to heritage buildings. Boutique shopping and nice coffee shops. Stewart Park boasts beautiful waterways with arched foot bridges.

A beautiful waterfront Village setting with a Country General Store and a good restaurant. The Yacht Club Beach is public with a $5 user fee. This beach has one of the best sunsets and sandy beaches.

This is one of our favorite village near Perth. Located on the Big Rideau. The Dock is a must and so is a visit to nearby Foley Mountain. Great bakeries and ice cream near the dock. Country stores abound and makes a good day trip.

Fantastic trails and heritage sites to explore. Make it a day trip to include Almonte, Pakenham and Blakeney. These contain some of the 7 Wonders of Lanark County.

A historic band stand, Granite island, river, arched bridges and lots of trees, gardens and paths. There is a fenced in large children's park across the street and a stone stacked stone bridge the locals call, 'Kissing Bridge'. A must see when you visit Perth.

No photo would do this place justice. Plan your day if you visit Almonte to experience cedar bridges over inspiring rapids. The trails are breathtaking. We highly recommend this place. A 45 minute drive from our church home.

A local best kept secret: Eggs Benedict. The best on the planet there is. This local favorite is decorated with a large collection of Roosters and overlooks the Rideau Canal and a historic Rail Lift bridge which is one of a kind in the world.
