This is a cafe and game shop all in one. They have a fun board game night on Wed. If you like table top games this is your place. They carry games you wouldn't see in a typical shop and the staff is very friendly.

We love the quiche Lorraine and strawberry danish, but you can't go wrong with just a plain croissant and jam.

Tea fanatics will love this place, nice quiet atmosphere with lots of teas and small bites to choose from. We love the London Fog. Oh they also have crepes.

Plenty of seating and good atmosphere. They grow their own herbs and salad greens on the roof. They also produce their own honey for special drinks. Diem loves the stewed mussels ask for sliced bread to dip instead of the fries that come with the order.

Our usual Sunday outing wouldn't be complete without a stroll through the Ballard Farmer's Market. They just expanded recently (5/16) and it's just a few blocks away from AirBnB studio.

Great Americana food with seasonal menu. It's a great value, family friendly and lots of seating available. We go for the NY Steak every time, but they have great wood oven pizzas. Check out the early bird specials as well, Diem recommends the cornbeef hash and poached eggs for breakfast.

A really cool jewelry and curiosity shop. They sell vintage as well as artisan made pieces. Beautiful space, very well curated, you can always let your eyes do the shopping!

If you can only go to one place in Seattle this is it! Many great shops, bakeries and restaurants near by. A functioning farmer's market and one of Seattle's best tourist spots (that's not cheezy). Our tip is to go on weekdays if you can, the weekends can be crazy, especially if it's sunny.

A true hidden gem in Seattle. A privately funded museum that's free to the public! They have a small, but impressive selection of paintings and lots of edgy shows that you wouldn't expect. They like to juxtapose contemporary work that's very current with more traditional work in their collection.
