This is a very expensive 5 star hotel that was indeed once a Palace. A lovely place to enjoy a real Afternoon Tea, the first place to announce the finding of Tuts tomb. Just lovely.

Great place for a coffee and a panini after viewing Luxor Temple. The building has a seperate restaurant called "The Roof" which is errr..on the roof. Serves Egyptian food with great views.

This island is a short walk away from The Orange Grove. It's a perfect place for birdwatching or just a quiet stroll around the island. The bars & restaurants are open to non residents.

Sightseeing
It only takes about 30 minutes to look around this museum but very interesting. We always used to stop for Hot chocolate at the nearby Anubis cafe which was better in its glory days.

Everything Else
One of my very favourite sites in Luxor. I'm in awe everytime I go there. There is also a Sound and Light show in the evening.
