You get there by boat from Bryggen and the boat trip itself is an excurtion. Departure from Dreggekaien on Bryggen at 18:00 and return 22:30 from Cornelius. They have excellent Seafood and good wine.

You can buy tickets to fjord cruises and sightseeings from the Tourist Information. At the fish market 5 minutes walk from our apartment.

Stoltzekleiven is one of the most popular trails in Bergen. Approx 722 steps from start to the top of Sandviksfjellet. Remember to bring water to drink on your way. From Sandviksfjellet you can alsow walk on trails to mount Fløien and take the funicular down. Very Norwegian to go hiking - This is my favorite, but of course you have to have good shoes and the weather should be nice if you choose this one. Not recommended if there is fog and lot of rain.

Swimming pool and sea bath. This is not a beach but a nice place to go swimming. Take a walk in the park as well and the aquarium is not far from here.

From the top you have miles of views of Bergen and the surrounding area with sea, archipelago, fjords and mountains. You will find restaurant, activity park, shop and fantastic hiking opportunities at the top. The course runs continuously every 7 minutes.
