This place is special to us : it is our italian neighbours and friends' shop. It is literally filled with the tastiest delicacies they get directly from italian producers.
Our suggestion : go for a "salami al tartuffo Villani" (a truffle dry-sausage) and a burratta (cheese) - you will have the best "apperitivo".

Belleville is not famed for its traditional french baguettes, but you can find some very good bread at Thierry Meunier's boulangerie, just up the road. The pain au chocolat and croissants are also very tasty.

Parks & Nature
Amazing intricate family park with fountains and hidden gardens. You will get one of the nicest views of Paris if you climb all the way to the top at the panoramic spot !

Bigger than the Parc de Belleville but certainly more touristy, this park offers stunning views and incredibly wide spaces rarely found inside Paris. A lake, a few hills and a couple caves : this ancient mine turned into a park in the 19th century is classic french imperial scenery.

1 Rue BotzarisBigger than the Parc de Belleville but certainly more touristy, this park offers stunning views and incredibly wide spaces rarely found inside Paris. A lake, a few hills and a couple caves : this ancient mine turned into a park in the 19th century is classic french imperial scenery.
Shopping
On tuesdays, and fridays the market is cheap and populous and you can find just about whatever you want. On wednesdays and saturdays, it is smaller but finer with better choice especially in seafoods.
