One of my absolute favorite places !!!!!! Hatties is one of the original chicken shacks to ever be in New York. Amazing home made friend chicken with a creole flavor. Great if your leaving the chalet or arriving in. There are 2 locations- one is open on select days.

Local white water rapids and rafting, yes they are actual rapids it is fun to do with a big group. The rapids are only 15-20 minutes away from the chalet. Takes up a good half a day or so.
