Balade serves awesome Lebanese food. The falafel and shawarma sandwich are both awesome. We order from here ~4x a month. Delivery is super fast too because it is so close. You can't go wrong with their meze. The actual restaurant is romantic and very NYC if you decide to eat there.

It's decent Mexican food, (tacos and their self serve salsa stand out). They don't have a liquor license. Portions are generous, chips are free. The staff is likely too stoned to know what year it is but that adds to the allure. 4 people max unless you really like jamming into booths.

Drinks & Nightlife

This is a secret speakeasy-type bar that you have to look really hard to find. You'll only know it by an "A" on the door. Knock and request to be let in when someone comes to the door. The cocktails are custom made -- just tell the barstaff what you like. Downside: the cocktails are super pricey, like $24 bucks each. Get one drink for the experience and then head out!
