Great menu and wine list - and what's even better is that you it's a 10 minute walk from my house - or a 2 minute cab drive. If it's full - you have at least 10 other restaurants to choose from - all right next to each other.

Linden is fast becoming one of Joburg's trendiest suburbs - so if you're looking for somewhere else to go out that isn't Parkurst - or the Joburg CBD - then look no further than Linden. It has loads of eateries and coffee shops - and is a fun place to hang out on a Saturday morning - or in fact any day of the week

Linden is fast becoming one of Joburg's trendiest suburbs - so if you're looking for somewhere else to go out that isn't Parkurst - or the Joburg CBD - then look no further than Linden. It has loads of eateries and coffee shops - and is a fun place to hang out on a Saturday morning - or in fact any day of the week
This is an AWESOME place to hang out on a Saturday morning. There are tonnes of artisinal food stands and organic everything. The place is pumping on a Saturday morning - and is situated in an unused parking lot - so has full cover from the elements. Joburg at its best - with a real vibe and energy to it

If you're looking for a super posh (and pricey) evening out, then look no furthe than Marble, with its glitzy style New York bar, fabulos restaurant, stuning decor and great, sprawlig views of Johannesburg. Bookings are essential.

Rosebank is the closest major mall to Parkhurst. It has every major retailer including super markets, movies, high fashion, restaurants and safe and secure parking. Your other options are Sandton City or Hyde Park Shopping Centre. Rosebank Mall also houses the famous Rosebank Rooftop market - Joburg's biggest flea market - open every Sunday and on public holidays.

Uber works like a dream in Johannesburg - so make sure you have the app downloaded. There have been some concerns around Uber X - so if you're in any doubt, use Uber Black - but I use Uber X daily - and haven't yet had an issue
