This is San José's most happening spot, it is a younger crown and usually gets pretty full but it can be lots of fun! There is usually a DJ playing electronic dance music downstairs and latin music playing upstairs.

A sports bar right across the park in front of the apartment, where you can watch pretty mucha any game and get a good burger or sandwich.

This hostel is always popping with young travelers, they have a bar, restaurant and a rooftop lounge. I recommend young solo travelers stopping in here and perhaps meeting other travelers to plan trips with.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots, its also a great walk from the apartment through the parks to get there. They have a great drink menu if thats the sort brunch you're into.
