Fremont has too many amenities to mention here, but, like downtown Ballard, it's only about a 15 minute walk to get there from the apartment with many interesting routes one can take there.

Has many amenities, although not as many as Fremont and Ballard. It is a beautiful, but longer, uphill walk from the apartment - about 20 minutes.

Mr. Bills is the closest little grocery store. They sell coffee, liquor and lots of candy, since Ross Park is across the street.
