Another one of our favourite locals with a decent pub food menu. They have a huge courtyard so it's a great spot to visit on a sunny afternoon. Try a Hawkers beer! My favourite.

One of our great local pubs. Recently refurbished with a variety of craft beers on tap. There's also a wine bar upstairs if you feel like something a little fancier. If you're an AFL fan then this is the place to go and watch a game.

My favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Two hats and so affordable at $65 for two courses or $75 for three. Bookings recommended. Open for lunch (Friday to Sunday) and dinner (Tuesday to Sunday).

Easily the best pub food in Fitzroy that never disappoints. Lovely staff and loads of taps. Napier street is also a lovely one to walk down to check out the unique houses and beautiful trees.

Lune has grown into the most successful bakery in Melbourne and the hype is well founded. If you are an early riser, wander down and join the queue before they open at 8am. They usually sell out by mid-morning but the rueben croissant is definitely worth the wait! Note: this is on Rose Street - ignore the map!

They usually sell out by mid-morning but the rueben croissant is definitely worth the wait! Note: this is on Rose Street - ignore the map!

Tasty and very affordable greek souvas and salads, owned by a famous Australian Greek chef. They also deliver on ubereats! Try the chips with feta - so good!

Great wings and whiskey based cocktails. Solid selection of American beers and a great casual atmosphere. They serve food very late too! Don't forget to go upstairs and check out Little Blood.

Where I go for the best margarita in town. Enter through Kodiak Club then go upstairs and you'll find the door. It's not usually super busy but great for a relaxed late night sipping tequila.

They only serve Australian spirits and make the best cocktail I have ever tasted - the golden flip. It will seriously change your life. They also do jaffles which are great for a quick bite, try the bangers and mash or the classic cheese.

They only serve Australian spirits and make the best cocktail I have ever tasted - the golden flip. It will seriously change your life. They also do jaffles which are great for a quick bite, try the bangers and mash or the classic cheese.
