After visiting Hallgrimskirkja walk down Skolavordustigur, its a lovely street with lots of nice arts and crafts, restaurants, and a bookstore Maybe have a coffe at MOKKA on the way.

And when in town take a look inside this former warehouse converted some years ago into a museum. Around there are plenty of bars, outside restaurants, music and dancing until late in the morning.

The swimming pool where I took my first strokes.. a 20 min walk, either through town passing the Catholic church or along Hringbraut and across pond. If your at a keen swimmer its no objection! is it!
