This place is great. The atmosphere is casual and ecclectic. The coffee options are many and the breakfast sandwiches are super yummy (my personal favorite is the bagel and lox).

The neighborhood is home to a large Caribbean diaspora, so you can't go two storefronts without hitting a jerk chicken place, however, this is THE place for all things Caribbean. Their brunch menu is out of this world. They have a waffles and jerk chicken option as well as a fish and creamy, cheese grits option. The portions are HUGE and filling. You won't be disapointed.

I love Erv's extensive cocktail menu on top of the beers and wine. The place is a real hole-in-the-wall, but it only adds to its laidback atmosphere. The bartender is also really nice and chatty.
