Food Scene
Very unique menu, great cocktails. Not very child friendly though. Smaller bites meant to be shared. Not a place if you're a picky eater, no alterations to the menu either. One of my favorite spots to eat in Austin.

One of Austin's biggest staples and biggest restaurants. Great Tex-Mex and so far the best margarita I can find in the city. If you go after 5pm good chance you'll run into me. Great patio if the weather is nice.

Similar to Odd Duck, some people like Odd Duck some like Vox. I'm partial to the Duck. Both are very good though.

Sushi Fusion at one of Austin's most iconic high end restaurants. Reservations recommended but walk-in' s are welcome. If you can make it to 10pm to eat than its worth it. Not budget or family friendly.

Pretty easy hiking trail here. Can be a bit challenging if the water is higher. You may have to wade through the water in some areas. Great scenery though!
