The coolest newest park in Manhattan and not far from my apt! You can walk from 33rd St down to 13th St and see cool art, fun views of the city and get off and on the rail line to check out some fun bars & restaurants & shopping along the way ending up in the Meatpacking District. Google it!

Unique store full of restaurant overstock china & glassware and their own brand of wares featuring cool, funny, topical graphics/patterns. Also other kitchenware is there and GREAT gifts to bring home to someone! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is a typical grocery store...nothing special - cheaper prices than the smaller markets and has many brands/choices of everything. (not great prepared foods though) Best for all standard grocery items.

Organic & gourmet grocery store, huge selection of prepared foods, produce, cheeses etc. More expensive than regular grocery store. Coffee bar in the back, but no seating for eating in this particular WF location - FYI.

A cool retro cocktail lounge AND piano bar featuring piano karaoke every night at 9pm!! My friends own it - and it's a great place to bring a date or meet friends to sing songs by request. Has fancy cocktails and great snacks - I recommend the caesar salad & the pizza!

This is the top downtown food market ...cool vendors/local artisan food stops inside an historic building. Can get very crowded on weekends and during holidays so be aware! It is located on the Highline and makes a nice stop if walking the length of the park.
