Traditional Mexican restaurant and bakery in old Market square. The ceilings are lined with streamers and pinatas and you can be serenaded by Mariachis. After dinner you can walk around Market square to check out other shops and get some other treats.

This park is behind the Witte Museum and backs up against the San Antonio Zoo. It has a nice colony of egrets that congregate in the trees around one of the bridges. Nice old trees with a playground, good walking trails, and picnic tables. The river runs through it so there are ducks and other birds along with several bridges.
