The museum, which is located 25 miles north of Copenhagen, with a panoramic view of Sweden across the Sound, presents six to ten special exhibitions annually and has a distinguished art collection with over 3,500 works. Louisiana is also a vibrant cultural centre open in the evening Tuesday to Friday until 22:00 and offers a rich variety of activities and events.

The "Trumpeter Tower" is the tallest with its regal spire.

1987 - 1989 Ole and Betsy owned the place this last period with 05-appropriations.
1989 - 2002 Cafe Intime owned in this period of jazz singer Monika Pallesen. Monika lived from singing in her husband Niels Pallesen's Orchestra many places in scandinavien, several years of firm commitment on Vesterbro Gade's legendary night club Valencia. As time ran from live music to the benefit of the disco wave in the seventies she took over and Niels Gæstgivergården in Allinge on Bornholm, which was one of navlerne in the Danish musician environment, it is blah. referred to Gasoline often frequented the place. When Niels die at a much too early, deciding Monika buying Cafe Intime and with his vast experience from the music settings adds she instead its wonderful and charismatic person and singing voice. Monika sang almost every night, and the stories of Cafe Intime and Monika rumored to many corners even outside the country.
2002 - 2006 Frank Sand Martin takes over Cafe Intime in September 2002 - He told me he took over the place with the clause that he would maintain the place and its spirit. It did Frank. Frank could not stand for the operation of Intime in the last 7 months of its ownership, where it was uddellegeret to Michelle. It succeeded for Michelle to keep the place running until it became clear that the responsibility for CAFE INTIMATE should rest on new shoulders. In a short period in January 2006 Intimate closed, but rebounded strongly in February - thanks to good patrons helped create the good Intimate atmosphere
