The park is about a 30 min drive from my house. Really cool trails to walk around an old plantation that is now a state park. There is a swamp trail that is amazing and it is one of the top birding spots around.

The South Carolina Aquarium is pretty impressive. Located right on the water in downtown Charleston. The is a great option for both adults and children.

Folly Beach is a barrier island and has great beaches for soaking up some sun, searching for sharks teeth, taking a surf lesson, or taking a boat tour. Be aware parking can be challenging during the summer months.
