• A good spot to relax after a long hard day walking around the city • Nice vintage coffee shop • Very cool for a little breakfast time or to take away some good patisseries

• Take the ferry boat at "Cais do Sodré" to "Cacilhas" • Walk towards the old "San Francisco" style bridge along the river • You'll find after a 10mn walk a little and nice restaurant called "Atira-te ao rio" next to a tiny sandy beach • The fish is perfectly fresh and creatively prepared

Excellent place for a cozy dinner with a partner or friends to listen to traditional Portugese Fado. Even if you don’t understand the words you’ll get the emotion behind the songs. Make sure to get a reservation because place is tiny and gets filled quickly.

Sightseeing

• You can see the São Jorge Castle from your balcony • You can walk there and on the way you'll discover the Mouraria district (the former moorish district of Lisbon) and its multi cultural atmosphere • The castle offers a beautiful view over Lisbon and has a nice restaurant. We recommend you to go there for dinner, when no visitors are allowed in. Enjoy the astonishing night view while discovering delicious Portuguese dishes: the restaurant is called: "Restaurante Casa do Leão" • After visiting the castle and its museum, you can walk downhill (East) and discover the iconic Alfama district

The bus to/from the airport passes through Rossio square • From Baixa it's just a short walk east to the historic Alfama district and the social nightlife of Barrio Alto is just to the west • Baixa has an extensive range of restaurants, shops and bars and in our opinion is the best place to be based within Lisbon
• This visit can be combined with a short trip by ferry boat, a superb vista of Lisbon from the other river side, a nice restaurant next to the Tagus and a tiny sandy beach • Take the ferry boat at "Cais do Sodré" to "Cacilhas" • Walk towards Cristo do Rei along river shore • Take alternatively the elevator to discover downtown Almada situated on top of a cliff
