Super cheap, local spot. Get the shrimp bruschettas (Kabobs). They're bacon wrapped and TO DIE FOR. Buckets of beer are cheap, so is fresh juice (seasonal). Ceviche's also a good bet, as are Patacones. Service like all cheap spots in Panama is so/so but soooo worth it!!

An awesome little beach town about 45 minutes from the apartment. To get a driver for the day will cost about $125 and you can explore lots of things in the area including Campana national park (about half way, with amazing views) and Coronado or even El Valle. Make sure to stop at Quesos Chela for a snack!

Good, high end but CHEAP movies almost always in English. Go online to book tickets or get there about an hour before the movie to get a good ticket. If you speak English, choose Subtitulado, which means English with Spanish subtites. Gotta love Panama!

You can catch the ferry to Taboga just below the apartment, round trip for around $15 per person. Spend the day or spend the night, it's the closest beach to us!

About 1.5 hours drive, you can take a bus or take an UBER or even hire a driver. A pretty cool beach area, lots of options to eat too! An easy day trip.

A really cool part of Panama, about 1.5 hours from the apartment. If you like extreme sports and appreciate a really lovely drive, check it out! Make sure to stop at Quesos Chela on the way, to try a fantastic Empanada!!
