Orange Blossom is a major staple on the Island. They have fresh pastries every day but they are famous for their Apple Ugly! They also have an awesome Cinnamon Roll as well as breakfast sandwiches and wraps.

If you are looking to get away for the day and visit Ocracoke Island, the Ferry is the only way there and back. Ocracoke is a very small island but good for a day trip for sightseeing and just relaxing.

This is the place to go to rent a 4 wheel drive, if you don't have one, so you can drive on the beach. There's nothing like loading up your vehicle with everything you need for a day at the beach. Pick a ramp to drive on, pick your spot and park, you have everything you need without having the lug it down to the beach.

Iconic Lighthouse protects one of the most hazardous sections of the Atlantic Coast. It is 198.5 feet tall, it has 269 steps that you can take for a self guided tour to the top. You can see most of the barrier island from the top. Definitely recommended.
