The Berghain, once rated the best club in the world is a must go for clubbers and electronic music lovers. It is hard to get inside, I'll be happy go give you advice :) The place is open 24+ hours. Sunday mornings are a good time for clubbers that value sleeping at night.

This is a nice bar and night club. It gets really full on Thursday and weekend days. Decent prices and several dance floors. Highly recommended and only 5 minutes away from my house :)

Food Scene
This place is just downstairs and in my building. The owner is a nice Austrian guy. Great coffee and vibe including a couple of healthy smoothie and breakfast options. Laptops only in the back room.

Best cupcakes in town, the staff is amazing, always smiling and happy to give advises. Go for the sea salt caramel and/or the peanut one! Yummy!

Getting Around
This is the closest Overground train (S-Bahn) and Subway (U-Bahn) station. There are also a couple of Tram lines. From S+U Warschauer Strasse you can get anywhere in the city really fast. It'S a ten minutes walk from my place.

It's a nice 15 minutes walk from my place.

Everything Else
Just in front of my house: Best Market ever, fresh food and great products, you can literally find anything you are looking for, or shop for your whole week, it's not cheap because everything is fresh and mostly Bio but the prices are reasonable, every Saturday from 9am till 5pm you can just walk around, try things or sit in the middle part where the children can play and have fun time and enjoy the sun.

A quite big organic supermarket. Very clean and well organized. Very high quality. Price meets that high quality. Go there for good quality meat and everything else!

The only 100% vegan supermarket in town. I love the coffee shop and restaurant. The peanut butter shake with an Espresso shot is my favorite! :)

This is my gym and I can obviously highly recommend it ;) I usually do some weight lifting or go the "BodyPump" classes /holmesplace.de/ostkreuz.c/de/schedule/) and relax in the Sauna afterwards. A swimming pool is also available. They have a little bar with a food and drinks selection too.

In addition to visiting the field station you should absolutely visit the nature reserve Kiesgrube (gravel-pit)

This is one of the cleanest lakes of Berlin and surrounded by the woods (Grunewald). It's the perfect refreshment for hot days and even hosts a small lifeguard station. Please be aware that part of visitors will be nude as this is part of German culture.
Make sure to stop at the "Ökowerk" on the way too to get some coffee & cake. It's an Ecological and natural reserve centre and historically the first water station in Berlin. It also features exhibitions, a small museum, eco gardens and an insects hotel.
