World Famous! A fantastic, relaxing and beautiful way to spend the afternoon and evening especially on Fireworks Saturdays in the summer. These fireworks and show rival any we've seen...and we've seen quite a few! Picnic on the fireworks lawn.

A close by gotta see castle and grounds! The X Men was filmed there. Lots of history and just a cool castle to visit. Right on Esquimalt Lagoon so you can walk the beach after if you like.

Very historical, nice beach and very interesting.. best in the summer months but hey you can go there anytime! Also keep going down the same road and walk Esquimalt Lagoon beach... beautiful and so close by!

603 Fort Rodd Hill RdVery historical, nice beach and very interesting.. best in the summer months but hey you can go there anytime! Also keep going down the same road and walk Esquimalt Lagoon beach... beautiful and so close by!
Cool walk up with an incredible view at the top...and then you can slide down! It was featured on the Amazing Race Canada too... Definitely worth a visit!

You came to BC to see some big trees right? These are the biggest! Google Canada's Gnarliest Tree in Avatar Grove and go for a hike to see one of the giants in our spectacular forests! There is also Red Creek Fir- worlds largest Douglas Fir, Big Lonely Doug- Canada's 2nd largest and San Juan Sitka Spruce. If you're very adventurous, see the Cheewhat Giant! You'll need a guide (We've been there!) but it's Canada's largest Western Red Cedar and well worth the hike!

Just think... all this with sweet amenities like laundry and special touches in your own private space without having to pay $180/night or more at a hotel!!
