Top notch, authentic Mexican food. It's only about an 8 minute walk from the house. The food is awesome, the SERVICE IS NOT(very hit or miss and can be EXTREMELY SLOW), so avoid if in a hurry

World Famous donuts - this is one of the first stores that opened in the 1940's. You can watch as the donuts roll off the conveyor belts and grab some HOT DONUTS NOW (look for that neon sign)

Great Local Beer - visit the Brewery to try a taste or just ask at any downtown restaurant. Helle's Belle is great in Fall / Winter and Blanco Diablo is my favorite in the Summer.
