This is one of my favourite spots. If you want to get out of town and enjoy the scenery of the Cape all along the coastline - this is a day trip worth taking. Kalk bay is lined with quirky little shops and best of all a bakery/restaurant. They offer some of the most delicious meals and the entire setting is just right.

A beautiful Cape Dutch setting just beyond Stellenbosch and very close to Franschhoek. This is worth a day trip to sightsee all 3 spots along the way. Stop at a wine estate and purchase a basket full of deli foods.

Fabulous for all sorts of hiking or even a walk along the pipe track which is relatively flat once you've made it up to the start. The views are glorious and there are plenty of other active people along the way.

This drive is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. The views are incredible and it has been used for many car commercials. You won't regret this meander through the mountains.

Within the city and a great walk around for a sense of the vibe this city has on offer. It is also within walking distance from the Parliament building and a short stroll from the famous Long Street.

This park is lovely and within the woods of Orangezicht but within the heart of the city. Everyday you will see dogs and their wners walking through the park - but on occassion free live music is played within the park and everyone takes along a picnic basket.
