Bombay Cafe style restaurant, the queues speak volumes but worthy of the hype. Never had a bad meal, or even a bad dish, try everything! This Carnaby St branch tends to be a little less busy than its cousins nearby, but still plan on a wait, or try it for lunch/brunch instead. Bhel is my absolute favourite.

There's no menu. Just tell them whether you want your steak medium or rare. Well done does not exist. You think your finished, and then Boom... the other half of your steak and chips arrives.

You can almost feel like you're in the countryside, parts of it are genuinely quite wild and have an air of mystery first thing in the morning (if you can ignore the traffic noise from the A3!)

A ten minute walk from the flat, and then perfect for a morning run, a good loop is to cross over Putney Bridge then run along the north side of the river, cross over Hammersmith Bridge and then back towards Putney on the south side.
