This is a lovely place to come to walk alongside the canal. There are some fantastic traditional bars and restaurants, some with live music. There are also two Michelin star restaurants here. It's less than ten minutes walk from my flat.

The best fish and chips in Edinburgh and the prices are reasonable. This was recently raved about on 'The Most Remarkable Places to Eat.' it's right down by Newhaven Pier so there are lovely views and walks.
It's only about a 10 minute walk from my flat.

Great place for food and drink. it's a great traditional bar with a good atmosphere. it's right on the tram route so if you don't feel like walking, 15 mins walk, you can get the tram down the road from my flat right to the door.

Fantastic food for a more special night. I love everything about this place. The food is excellent, they do good cocktails and the staff are really lovely. You need to book!

This is one of my favourite places for coffee. They are a local coffee roasters right in the heart of The Shore. They do great coffee and also have a small selection of sweet and savory pastries.

This is possibly the coolest place in Edinburgh. There are so many wonderful things to do here. You can spend time at The Shore enjoying the many fabulous bars and restaurants. There are also great places to walk around here. There a great little farmer's market here every Saturday.
