Overlooking Pahrump from the east at 12,000 feet, this mountain range hosts a unique pine forest. (quite a contrast from the desert below) It has both hiking and ATV trails and is home to numerous elk herds, deer, wild horses and other small animals. There is even a ski area for winter recreation.
