I grew up in Austin & driving to Lockhart for BBQ was a special event, no frills, real, down-home Texas BBQ. While the Bishop Arts location is a bit more polished than the original, food is GREAT, fun

Don't miss Happy Hour, really, you get the same yum yums & cocktails w/ great specials. One of the few places in Bishop Arts that stays open late, late & still serves food. Nice people, great hang!

A must visit if in Oak Cliff. 50s diner, original, serving food since the 50s, great homestyle diner food, healthy choices too, great coffee & desserts, busy, high energy place, w/ happy customers ;-)

Gourmet specialty coffee at it's best. Ask the barista about their process, sourcing, roasting, for the daily coffee drinker or the connoisseur. I highly recommend the Van Buren, its an experience.
