Hands down the best brunch I've had in Denver. Southern style brunch and lunch located in an old cottage-turned restaurant along 26th street. Their homemade coffee bar/lattes are stellar and the 9 kinds of mimosa varieties make it hard to decide with one (or four) you might get. It's small inside and very popular so I recommend going during the week -- try to avoid the weekend brunchers. They close at 3pm so make sure to time it out properly.

Focused on organically, locally grown foods, Root Down is truly Colorado. Their menu is super unique and super yummy. It's a laid back scene and always very popular.

You won't even mind waiting in line under the adorable lights that string the patio and the excitement of the Highlands neighborhood bustling around you.

Pizza always tastes better after some drinks.. but this pizza is delicious any time of the day.

It's an all-you-can-eat style dinner with the meat carved off the skewer table side. They have decently priced drinks and good specials on the pool tables. It's pretty popular on weekend nights but there are plenty of tables to go around.
