You can rent canoes here and go up Galeairy Lake with access locally. The store is 2 km from my house and this lake is 11km long with 80% of it in Algonquin Park. It is much calmer and safer than Opeongo Lake.

It is a 10 minute walk from here and is open the longest. The food is good too. They have some gluten free options and organic coffee and teas.

The Lakeside Smokehouse/Spectacle Lake Lodge

Tuesday night is Blues Night with the same iconic band for 25 years. People come from all over to experience this place. I have seen up to 12 musicians play at once here but the base group is 3 guys. The restaurant serves the best Polish food and desserts for one should be for two. Highly recommend a stop in Wilno which is the first Polish settlement in Canada.
