If you fancy a boogie this club is a short bus ride away just off lively Putney High Street which has a huge selection of bars, cafes, restaurants and some nice riverside pubs too.

If you want a longer walk, cross over Hammersmith bridge and walk along the other side of the river via Chiswick, returning to Barnes via Barnes railway bridge. A lovely long walk with great views and great pubs for refreshments.

Large, comfortable theatre a bus ride away in the historic market town of Kingston upon Thames. A very busy town with great shopping, bars and restaurants as well as nice riverside walks.

The former residence of Henry V111 - incredible palace and amazing gardens including a maze which children love. Beautifully situated alongside the Thames. An unforgettable day out. The palace is fascinating in terms of history, culture and architecture.
A short drive or uber taxi ride away (under 30 minutes if not rush hour) or a 40 minute bus ride away (need to change buses) outside rush hours.
Alternatively it is a 45 minute train ride away with trains going from nearby Barnes Station with a change of train at Clapham Junction.
