Friendly people, as usual for a McMenamins. Warm and inviting, great history with this specific one and staff was knowledgeable. Bar on the bottom floor was fantastic! Drinks are mixed well, service was friendly and engaging. The bar on the main floor was good, except for the lady was a hitting and miss on services but, the food was good. We had the Cajun tots and the Truffle fries. Truffle fries are overrated in my opinion but the dipping sauce that comes with them is the star of that specific side. Cajun tots are awesome.
Fun golf course and the passport activities are fun. Live music on Thursdays.

McMenamins Gearhart Hotel
1157 N Marion AveFriendly people, as usual for a McMenamins. Warm and inviting, great history with this specific one and staff was knowledgeable. Bar on the bottom floor was fantastic! Staff was friendly, food was good, bowling was fun. There was music playing while we bowled. Wasn't too loud. Has a bar with beer selections. Not sure if there is hard alcohol. Looked like there were some lottery machines behind a separator. Was very clean, the best part, they had couches by the lanes and nice tables to put your stuff in while you play. It seems that it can be very family friendly especially if you stick by the lanes. They have t.v.'s with the scores and sports on them so you can enjoy catc
