Fortified gate from the 15th century. Now there is not much interesting going on here, but this place used to be a Medieval city gate, and after Charles V broke down our city walls it became a prison for a while! I guess crime was low in these days because I dont see an awfull lot of place there to put prisoners.

If you re in town and you want a quick snack, this is the place to be. It used to be the old Postal building of Ghent. During some hours it can be really crowdy though. Be sure to visit the nice shops and coffeeshop in the first floor too!
