I can't vouch for the golf, though I'm told it's a good course, but I can guarantee that it's a great location to relax over coffee, tuck into a delicious meal or have a facial in Monks Spa.

Having been built by the Normans in the 12th Century it is remarkable ow much of the castle is still intact. Well worth a visit whether you're a budding historian or not! Great gifts in the shop too!

A rare reminder of the village's industrial past. Quirky little place but worth a visit - kids love the trains and machinery and the Tinworks Pond is a great place to look for tadpoles!
