Food Scene

A very small, romantic restaurant. The food is excellent and they take reservations! I would highly recommend making them if you decide you would like to eat there.

This second story restaurant is hidden enough that it is filled with almost exclusively locals. Delicious food and a great, relaxed atmosphere. They also accept reservations.

I have never actually eaten here, but I hear it’s wonderful and it’s one of the places in Boston to eat seafood. I don’t believe they take reservations.

This is the original Pizzeria Regina location and it definitely lives up to the hype. The line often extends down the block, so if you want to eat in, try going at off-peak times.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall place with really good pizza. If you want an informal place to hang out and watch whatever game is on TV, this is the place to go.

SUCH great food!!! I went here for my birthday and 7 out of 8 of us loved our meals. It's not the most inexpensive meal, but the food is so amazing that I think it ends up being really good value.

Lulu’s has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The flavor choices are mind-boggling, but the good news is that you can’t go wrong.

Go skating on Frog Pond in the winter or catch Shakespeare in the Park in the summer. A walk up Beacon Street to see all of the old homes is well worth it, and the start of the Freedom Trail is here.
