I'm not really into clubbing anymore but I used to hang out there and it sounds like it's still pretty popular. Don't confuse it with le Gibus, another club on the right, which is not as good.

Nice small bar with cheap and good cocktails. The map is wrong, it's on the rue Jean Pierre Timbaud. Try also "Le Petit Garage" for rock music or "L'alimentation generale" which are 20 meters away.

My favourite bar in Paris, owned by a friend, with a great deco and great music for those who like classic rock.
