Grand Rapids is a 30 minute drive. Small city with a big city feel. East GR has a hip food scene and downtown offers everything a big city offers including fun nightlife, restaurants, cafes, theater, music, and museums.

Just south of the State Park is a public beach that is free with free parking. Grand Haven has a quaint downtown area with unique shops and restaurants.
