Te Papa is New Zealands museum and has so much to see. Easily spend a day checking it all out. There are several cafes within to have a bite to eat throughout your day. Also several shops with beautiful gifts.

Our beautiful park where the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior remains. A nice place to go to pay your respects and to sit in the sun and listen to our Tuis fly between the Pohutukawa trees.

Wellington has a beautiful zoo along with their Nest which is where they fix the injured animals. This has glass walls so the public can see when they are working on animals. Very interesting and a great learning experience and appreciation for the animals. Also a lovely cafe to sit down and replenish your reserves. Take good walking shoes as a bit up and down the landscape.

Take good walking shoes as a bit up and down the landscape.
This is a nice place to go during the day and into the evening when you can look across the city to see the beautiful lights at night.

Wellington Cable Car is a lovely experience to ride this and head to the Cable Car Museum at the top. Well worth the look. Amazing views looking down across the city from the top.

This Countdown is super handy and one of the largest Coundown's around. It also has a Pharmacy in the middle of it so you can pick up your medicine while you shop for groceries. Just don't forget your recycle bag as no plastic bags now!
