If you can't manage the Elephant Tower...the views from this massive piazza closeby are also spectacular. Lots of places for exotic cocktails after wandering around the historic buildings

One of the prettiest cathedrals you will ever find. It's medieval beginings largely masked by Baroque additions. A very lovely and beautifully decorated crypt.

My personal favourite beach. Very safe for children as the small island breaks the waves. Lovely wooden cafe and great facilities eg shower toilets and car park but be prepared for a €5 charge.

If you don't mind a 90min drive (can be longer in heavy traffic) Villasimius has two great beaches either side of the large marina & a lagoon. Great place for diving. Beautiful but more of a resort!
