Fabulously located in the Small Square in Listowel. On fine days, try to grab one of the outdoor tables. Brilliant for people watching and enjoying a nice cup of tea in the sun.

Everything Else

It's an interesting museum that people often miss when they visit the town. If you like trains, engines, or are just curious about how a monorail ended up in North Kerry, it's worth a look!

Parks & Nature

Nice park with a beautiful, quiet walk by the river that brings you back to the Square. Part of the heritage trail. Also home to the Garden of Europe. Lovely in the summer, but kind of bare looking in the winter.

Nice little walk out to the tip of the island. One of my favourite places. Park at Carrigafoyle Castle and walk from there across the bridge, turn left and continue out to the Battery (it's the building that looks like a big block). Right of way access across fields. Locals swim off the rocks here, but best not to do so unless you are with someone who knows the area as there can be strong currents.

Getting Around

If you're getting the bus, this is where it will drop you off and pick you up. Buses leave for Limerick (duration about 1hr 30mins) and Tralee (about 30mins) every two hours.
