If you're in town in the Spring/Summer or Fall, Lake Calhoun is a must do. It has beaches for relaxing, canoes for renting, bikes for renting! It's a gem in the middle of the city.

The Science Museum is a gem! It's a great place to take children for a day's outing. They can touch and do experiments. The Omni Theater is a treat!

I love this zoo. It's one of the best in the country. The animals live as if they are in the wild (almost). You and your kids can lose a day here. & it has music after hours in the summer time. Wow!
