Local favorite for pizza - very low key, only frequented by locals. Great pizza, low prices and outdoor experience cannot be beat. Not fancy, but definitely fun :) Go Tuesday night for all you can eat outdoor experience. Also have bocce ball, local wine etc.

Est in 1929. The line is worth the wait. Sandwiches are amazing. Sit outside, enjoy your food and a craft beer.

Monterey is an hour and a half south of us but if you are up for a serious day trip and the hefty admission price (49 for adults and 29 for kids age 3-12, under 3 is free) - this aquarium cannot be beat. Take 17 south and route 1 for the scenic drive.
