Besides being a restaurant and bar, they have some type of music entertainment on the corner outdoors where there is lots of chairs and table to sit back, relax and enjoy a cool drink.

a mild river rafting trip. I am very afraid of lakes and ocean and anything where you can't see the bottom and I did this. It was so nice an relaxing. I would do it again.

I personally have not had this but my daughter and her friend's family say it is really good. We usually go to Blue Dog Pizza just across from here by Raleys but checked on a map and it looks like they may have moved. Won't know until I get there. I love Blue Dog Pizza.

So good. Lunch is not as pricier. Want to say the cutoff is 3 pm. Pick your items and they stir fry it with your choice of sauces and there you go. Yummy. NIce atmosphere too. Indoor and Outdoor with a really nice bar area.

Get your tacos and more here. Great prices and a neighborhood hole in the wall place. We love this for a quick cheap snack too to hold us over if we are going somewhere later. Very tasty. Just one block behind us towards the lake.

short hiking trail through the creek that is visited by salmon every fall by the thousands for their annual spawn. Other parts of the year, its a nice walk on the trail. There is also a beach that you can hike to. Also known as one of the few dog beaches.

Just finally went here last year to see the waterfall. WOW. Long drive to get there and you finally park and walk a short path and bam... there it is. Beautiful There are places to hike also but we did not do that on this day. You follow Fallen Leaf Lake Rd to the south end of the lake and then just a little more west around the bend to get there.
The beach is privately owned by the folks in this immediate area who are members, including Stardust Tahoe. The fireworks for july 4th are set off right off this beach by Harveys/Harrahs. Very nice place to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe

We usually make a stop when driving here at Folsom Costco or after getting into Tahoe, we make a trip to Carson City Tahoe and get what we need from there for the week.

Walking distance if you are a walker. But if you are buying a lot, bring something to carry it back in comfortably or take the car. Our Grocery Store. They also have food areas like chinese, sushi, deli items with Sandwiches, Salads and more.
