Found in Sam Levy's Village nearby, this charming restaurant has an indoor and an outdoor section. Delicious, authentic Indian food, at reasonable prices.

Just next to the supermarket, this indoor/outdoor spot is very budget friendly, does speedy breakfasts, good value lunches, and always with a smiling face. Recommended if you're looking for a cappuccino too.

If you have time and a vehicle, I'd definitely visit Domboshawa. It's a vast rock with a gentle incline and the goal of some cave paintings and spectacular at the top. Not a steep walk - your granny could manage it. Get to the top with your cooler bag and Willards crisps, and watch the sun go down. These days, it's become quite touristy, so now you have to pay! But only a couple of local dollars.

Domboshawa Rock RoadIf you have time and a vehicle, I'd definitely visit Domboshawa. It's a vast rock with a gentle incline and the goal of some cave paintings and spectacular at the top. Not a steep walk - your granny could manage it. Get to the top with your cooler bag and Willards crisps, and watch the sun go down. These days, it's become quite touristy, so now you have to pay! But only a couple of local dollars.

A little more up-market than Avondale, the Marsdorp market is on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Here you will find artisan jams and chutneys, spices, seeds and nuts, breads, handmade jewellery, hats, clothing, and also second hand clothes specially selected and colour-coded. Friends come to socialise here.

Here you will find artisan jams and chutneys, spices, seeds and nuts, breads, handmade jewellery, hats, clothing, and also second hand clothes specially selected and colour-coded. Friends come to socialise here.
Handily down the road, Spar has everything you need, and there are other shops here too, as well as a sports bar/restaurant (which I haven't tried out.) Please also support the local vendors selling fruit and veg. They're great value and very tasty.
