They start your dinner with an appetizer of boiled potatoes cajun style. This . is the one in "bucktown" by lake Pontchartrain, not the one on Iberville.

Parks & Nature
lovely, peaceful area with walking trails. Near the Audubon zoo. It's my favorite walking place in New Orleans, in Uptown, you can take the St Charles Streetcar down to the Audubon Park for a great outing.

City park is one of the three largest in USA. There is an awesome sculpture garden (it closes at 4 pm); storyville for kids with rides and a Ferris Wheel and Merry-Go-Round; plus, mother goose rhyme playground. It also has a botanical garden, the oldest oak trees in New Orleans, and an art museum. You can also rent a Gondolier and take a romantic ride on the lake that ends with champagne.
